On December 22nd 1993, Dina Lohan gave birth to her third child, Aliana Lohan. Aliana (12) has 2 brothers, older brother Michael (18) and younger brother Dakota (10) and 1 older sister, the teen idol, Lindsay (20). Living on Long Island in the suburbs of New York City, Aliana’s childhood was far from normal.
By the time Aliana was born, Lindsay was already paving her way to stardom. By the age of 3 Aliana was already following in Lindsay’s footsteps when she became a model for the well known Ford Modeling Agency in New York, the same agency where Lindsay began her career. Aliana appeared in many ads including an advertisement for Calvin Klein which she appeared in with older siblings, Lindsay and Michael. The Lohan’s lives would soon change for ever.
In 1998 older sister Lindsay landed the dual role of Hallie Parker and Annie James in Disney’s remake of The Parent Trap. With filming taking place in London, England and California it was time for the Lohan’s to leave there home in New York for awhile.
Lindsay was the star of The Parent Trap but the movie was also Aliana’s debut on the big screen. Ali made a small cameo appearance in the movie with her mother Dina and Brothers Michael and Dakota.
The Parent Trap premiered on July 29th, 1998 and entered the box office charts at number 2 in its opening weekend. The movie catapulted Lindsay’s career and Ali would be along for the ride.
After The Parent Trap, Dina decided it was time for a break and Ali and the family went back to there normal lives. It was not too long before Lindsay landed her next role when she played Casey Stuart in the TV movie Life Size staring super model Tyra Banks.
Young Ali gained more exposure when she made her second cameo appearance in Life Size. With Lindsay’s continuing success in Hollywood, Ali’s life continued to change. Frequent traveling and busy shooting schedules began to effect Ali’s childhood, but that didn’t bother her at all because Ali knew what she wanted to do. Ali wanted to follow in her sisters footsteps and become an actress.
Lindsay later filmed the TV movie Get a Clue in 2002 and began shooting her first major motion picture since Parent Trap in 2003. Freaky Friday, another Disney remake would be Ali’s 3rd time making a cameo appearance in one of Lindsay’s movies. With Lindsay’s career continuing to sky rocket, young Ali watched and learned from her older sister and soon Ali would get her big break.
Most would figure that the Lohan’s had the perfect life. Well it wasn’t always perfect behind the scenes. Ali’s father, Michael, spent a lot of time in prison for fraud. After being sent back to prison in 2005, Dina had finally had enough and finalized there divorce later that year. Ali’s father and his relationship with Lindsay was the inspiration for Lindsay’s hit single “Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)”. Aliana’s big break came when she was cast for a role in the music video for Lindsay’s single. The video was Aliana’s acting debut.
Aliana continued her modeling career as a runway model. In the mean time Lindsay continued with her acting and singing by filming movies such as Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls, Herbie Fully Loaded and Just My Luck and Recorded two albums, Speak and A Little More Personal.
A lot of questions were raised weather Aliana could ever take a step outside of her sister’s shadow. Aliana answered that question herself when she recorded her first album “Totally Awesome Christmas: Volume 1” in 2005.
Aliana is advancing her career in Hollywood even further. Aliana is scheduled to star in a new Disney Channel show which is slated to begin shooting in the fall of 2006. This will be Aliana’s first role in a television show at the age of 12, only 2 years older then Lindsay was when she made her acting debut on a television show (Another World).
Aliana is also proving that she is a double threat just like Lindsay. Aliana is currently recording her second album which is scheduled to be released in December of 2006.

In a photo taken Tuesday, the 17-year-old model emerged in Beverly Hills looking drastically different: with fuller lips and a much more angular face.
So what happened to Lindsay's kid sis?"Contrary to recent reports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery," Alexis Borges, the agency director at Next Model Management, which represents Ali, told E! News.
"As a young girl who is growing up, it's natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent. Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age. We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape."
